I am just finishing my last day of Indoc with AWAC. We need pilots!!! Everyone is encouraged to apply. They basically told us that they have no minimums right now and they need help. Having any kind of jet time would be beneficial. The training is tough, but very thurough. Im sure u guys know about the interview up in Appleton. Trust me....its well worth the drive from MKE and the Sim Prep. Reserve time is low and captain upgrades times are dropping. Please help us out!
I work here... I know people who have submitted reccomendations for pilots that still have not gotten calls, and they are well qualified applicants (135 check hauling, flying b-1900's for other airlines, etc.). One of the guys I reccomended just finished sim training, and two new hires have washed out (which was unheard of when I went through), so at least we aren't lowering our standards.
Reserve time may be dropping... but we still have people that have been here one year on reserve. Upgrade time is just over 3 years right now. Good luck on the rest of your training man... but I know people that read these boards where a post like this would get their hopes up. I've reccomended someone that I know who is on these boards, he has been waiting about a month for a call, and he is more than qualified.
Great place to be... but not a short sit on RSV, or quick upgrade by any means.
