It may be, but in my opinion, the interview actually lasts about 3 months (and really a full year when you are on probation). You are constantly evaluated throughout your training with the company. If you have a clean record, a good attitude, and have a commercial certificate with your ATP written finished, you should have a good chance of getting hired. All of the games and tricks that some of the other airlines play are just plain silly and do not belong.
It shouldn't matter how easy or difficult the written exam is. If you don't have the base knowledge, you will not pass training.
