Most CZ pilots are refugees from other airlines and haven't had the most stellar careers so far. I know a few 2nd year guys there who just upgraded and they were 8 year FO's at XJ/9E when they made the lateral move to CZ. Was it a good move? Trust me that they aren't jumping for joy about commuting to LAX to sit reserve for $60 an hour after 8+ years of 121 flying. 9E FO's around their original seniority are now getting Delta interviews. I don't blame them for jumping ship but I also don't believe that they just hugely sling shot their career like you. It's not like they were new hires right out of college. I don't know much about CZ but I heard they no longer have a guaranteed interview program? Maybe someone in the know can chime in on that. We all know your mantra shy towards 9E. Keep beating that drum if it makes you feel better about yourself.
Most will tell you they'll have to get back to you in a year as they are being held back with a CJO but told not to expect to go to class at Delta for about a year. No seniority number or accrual either (at least the flows had a max of 3 months AND a seniority number while waiting). They are back loading the departures til the end of the calendar year and all of this year's slots are taken so anyone interviewing now is likely looking at class no sooner than October of 2016!
That's a LOT of seniority lost with Delta hiring 100 a month.... some progression there.
