Amen. I'm a young guy myself (very young 20's) and it makes me SICK how some of these young newbie Pilots stretch "professionalism" into oblivion. It's terrible, but WAVIT is right - that guy could have been ANY pilot from ANY pilot group these days...Period.

You should have denied him the Jumpseat. Absolutely.

My first Captain off of IOE reamed me a new a**hole on Leg one for tossing my crew-bag into the closet before offering to help the F/A with hers. I just had no idea about the common courtesy and privileges in this Industry - and I wish I could thank him today for tearing into me because I'd still be making a fool out of myself :-)

Next time you see one of those young slick Pilots, bring the hammer down on 'em. They've got to take off their diapers at some point - for everybody's sake!
