People failing has been covered time and time again in this thread. The failure rate is pretty low, and anyone that try hard and has the ability will pass. Those that slack off, or simply do not have the ability to do the job will fail. The failure rate is pretty low. The overall rate of people making it to the line is ~82%. The 18% dropout rate includes people quitting for many reasons other than failing out.
