Any vacation trade means that someone junior gets a vacation originally owned by someone senior bypassing all those in between who might want it instead. Same basis for STT. Just can't trade a trip. Everyone in between the two traders has to have their shot a the more senior trip. There is no equivalent system in place to see if others more senior might want that vacation.
Oh brother! Have you even considered how the vacation bidding system works now? And if you believe in seniority so absolutely, then you must believe that once awarded you own your position, trip, vacation.. or not eh Komrad?
