I was in the left seat during the hiring boom at the regionals, and the era of the 250 hour wonder pilots. Every single one of the pilots who were fired for immaturity were college grads. I would go as far as saying the guys without the degrees were more well rounded, humble, and better employees because they knew this career was a God send for them.
