I've never flown the ERJ, but the CRJ is fun to fly if you know exactly how far you can take it. (That said, I enjoy flying a straight wing slowtation a lot more from a "flying" standpoint).
As for the "real" aircraft arguement- any aircraft with three seats across and bike handlebars...
