I imagine better than living in North Dakota... A buddy lives in Maui and is based in PAE. It's just a long ride to get to/from work, and if you're getting hit with imputed income, potentially expensive. But hey, you're living in hawaii!

No, not necessarily. Class seniority decides which airplane, although internally they might wait until they had a class they knew would be all 747. Downside is you might get stuck in ANC as a new hire vs. CVG on the 767, but if you live in HNL, ANC would be an easier commute anyway. Latest vacancy bid had 50 new hire slots in ANC on the 747, only 12 in CVG on the 767.
