He did not say people with expensive cars are not living within their means. It must be pretty tough to judge when your reading comprehension is so poor. Incidentally, it's beginning to look like you're feeling guilty about your own extravagance, and maybe you're starting to expose your "mature" side. If expensive cars are within your means, and you don't flaunt them, he's not talking about you. If, on the other hand, you only have an expensive car so you can brag about it, he is.
