So, the extra hours may have helped with whatever point system UAL uses to initially sift applicants. I knew if I could just get invited to an interview I'd have a good chance at getting hired, so long as the interviewers didn't reflexively gag when they first saw all that MQ-9/1 time. They didn't seem to mind at all actually, and I had some pretty unique TMAAT and CRM stories that probably helped make me stand out. Plus, I managed to avoid getting motion sickness in the sim!
