I depend on quality facts just like anyone else to gain an informed opinion on an issue, and I want to know what gives if anything that I have argued is inaccurate, questionable, wrong or unduly biased. Feel free to pick apart any fact at any time and supply better ones. I use sources like FAA, GAO, BLS and published academic studies as long as they are peer-reviewed from reputable schools. We all benefit from an exchange about a set of facts and my ego will gladly defer to anything you have present that is superior.
The GAO study was widely acknowledged as inadequate. There was no age breakdown and no consideration given to other than airline jobs. The training pipeline study did not take into consideration foreign vs domestic student in a time when a statistically significant proportion of training is given to students who will not be working in this country.
