When I upgraded I had 150 hours of user time and 160 of vacation. Scheduling would work with you to get a day or round trip off. ESPP was a 15% discount and I made lots of scratch, I paid my property taxes and house insurance with the profits. This list could go on for 2-3 union drives, easy. Ask a senior guy, the list will go from SFO to DFW easy. SKYW mgmt can't fathom why 12-15 year guys are slowly leaving or quitting outright. SKYW is rapidly becoming everything that they were proud of not being. The first step in regaining some trust from the pilots would be to drop Anita into Cherynobyl of Fukishima in her underwear. Unfortunately it would just probably enhance her evil powers. She is personally responsible for mor pilot misery than any human in the industry, including Frank Lorenzo. The icing on the cake, my first quartlerly captain bonus check was huge, I thought it was a mistake.
I do not believe they have any concern about a 12-15 year pilot leaving. They probably prefer it. You'll be replaced with a 4 year Captain at a much lower rate. Perhaps that is the intent?
