We just did our hot sections and there wasn't must wrong with the engines and it was just over 60k. A 414 is not even in the same ballpark of a king air. I think when you start doing phases instead of annuals is when the prices go up exponentially. Lol

800-900 per hour on a 414 does seem high though. We figure our E90 at about $1100 per hour. And that puts a little extra money in the kitty.

Its always more expensiave to go higher and faster lol. 8-900 was last year with the props and all. That figures hangar, insurance, engine reserve, all maintenance, fuel, oil....everything at about 150 hours per year. If you guys are figuring 1100 per hour and flying alot we would probably be around 1500/ hr flying less. I think really what needs to happen is this guys two other business partners need to go in on something all three of em... more flying, somewhat more justifiable. Last year they were in serious talks about a citation ultra. Boss asked me what i thought and i told him hell no for what we do it would eat us alive lol. Maybe we need to revist the mu2 as well.
