FedEx reported $11.7 billion in third quarter fiscal 2015 revenue, a 4% increase over revenue reported this time last year but a hair lower than the $11.8 billion analyst consensus. Net income for the quarter came in at $580 million and resulted in earnings of $2.01 per share — a figure that easily beat the $1.88 Wall Street estimate and marked a 63% surge over earnings per share reported for the year-ago quarter.
Seriously? EPS up 63%? Well, I'm glad somebody is benefiting from our labors and efforts. Too bad it's not actually the people who are doing the laboring, and putting forth the efforts.
