I don't think a reserve GS will pay 2X if you are above guarantee. In any case I am not a good person to ask anything about guarantee - in 16 years of flying on and off again reserve I never once made it to the guarantee.
So at least I got that going for me - Oh yeah, and on my death bed I will receive total consciousness.
