Despicable behavior. Pure and simple. This has nothing to do with economics but rather with trying to show us who's in charge here.

This makes no sense as we get ja calls all the time and hopefully this is a very short term delay BUT the management hiring is spiking so maybe that's the true reason.
From our union's news blast:
"The Association disagrees with any delay in training for these pilots, no matter how short or long. Having been given specific UPS training class dates in March and April, these 24 pilots have made career decisions based on UPS’s commitment to them. To do anything other than to honor that commitment is, in the IPA’s opinion, wrong and unconscionable. We have communicated those sentiments and our objections directly to upper UPS management."
