From what I understand more than a few pilots have already called to voice their dissatisfaction.

Now with that said, surely he must realize how bad this looks, especially since he is an elected rep. I too noticed his schedule immediately, and the IPBs he requested definitely seem excessive. I'd be really angry if I was on reserve and he was holding a line this way. I happen to know he spends most months on reserve, so it seems he did pad his schedule a bit this month. I'm quite sure no pairings are being written on Easter Sunday. Nevertheless, he has the right to explain himself, not be attacked anonymously. And I'm sure he will, when given the opportunity.

As for your concern about "public record" of individuals on ALPA leave, all of that can be viewed by Association members upon request. Have you requested it? You should if you're truly concerned. I think accountability is a good thing, don't you?
I was not attacking, actually the opposite. Would you rather have your elected official working reserve with rolled days off not working on union matters? Do you want your pairings to come out decent and on time? All I was saying is people should be aware of how much time they actually put in at the office. It is more than what the pilot group thinks. I was just suggesting to post it on the MEC site, for ease of access.

Let's end this discussion now. If you have anything else to say, as Tony suggested bring it to the meeting.
