The "paying" for the EFB was just subterfuge to get us to think that we won one by not having to "pay" for the Surface II, in the meantime the EFB notification is heavily pimped by SAPA and becomes law, without a whimper, and every pilot will become a reserve. The funny thing is in their quest to insure the flying gets covered, their new hire replacement pilots read about this stuff and stay away, as a result.
I'm gonna eat crow and agree with you. I just spoke to Sapa about this because I wanted to hear it from the horses mouth and not on this board. But it's exactly as others are saying it's gonna be. We are gonna pay for EFBs and they will notify us via them. Only caveat is we will not be required to have them on.
Your rhetoric on this board of trying to get people to not come here is self serving and not helpful. Most people, fortunately, do not read it
