Most seem to be hiring now at 1500/25. I would expect that to stay the same or get lower over the next five years. Some are already reimbursing you for up to 300 hours of flight time. Soon, somebody will come along to tell you should get your CFI and all the reasons why it's better than buying a plane, blah, blah, blah. They're right.

Also, it's far from the hardest thing you'll do in your aviation career.
