My question is how much ME time do you guys project I will need if I begin applying to regionals say in the next 5 years? What will be considered competitive and "hirable".
Many thanks.
I'm sure this will be a "broken record" type statement but....get your CFI. You think you aren't cut out for it? How do you know with only a PVT/IR?
If you aren't cut out to be a CFI why would you be cut out for initial 121 training? Or flying a passenger jet for that matter?
If you do just decide to buy a plane make sure you challenge yourself. Flying to a couple nearby airports to buy a burger for 1500 hours isn't going to get you to where you need to be.
Good luck.
