Not quite correct on the years. It wasn't until 2005ish that the RJ guys even got a look. At the beginning of 2002 there was 1 American pilot. At the end of 2002 there were 2.

Probably was closer to 2005. I know 3 that went to Emirates in 2006. How many pilots are there are Emirates now?
