Attrition is the big variable that nobody knows. And depending on how that turns out will decide if they need to hire another wave of CQs later this year and how many.
With that being said, anyone that can jump in on the CQFO bandwagon, it's probably still a good deal for people looking to leave their current regional. You'll get some PIC time, and at least $44 per hour for making the switch. And an upgrade shouldn't be too far down the road.
The CPs have been all over the place with numbers over the last 6 months. Not saying they are misleading anyone but there are so many variables beyond their control anything outside of 30-90 days is reading tea leaves. The biggest variable here is attrition which has been lower than expected. If attrition goes back up the numbers will change again. We have no flow or any ability to manage attrition so these numbers are going to be all over the place for a while.
