I will not be lucky nor unlucky, as I wouldn't be affected by it. And if what you say actually holds true, they're naive to think that will keep people from coming to F9 and then leaving for another airline if Delta, Southwest or wherever is truly where someone wants to be. If F9 is the last stop, then obviously it doesn't matter. But first year elsewhere will be double someone's pay at F9, will cover a training contract, and career earnings would be astronomically higher.
