I did see two 777 Capt.s try to kill me though, one was a LCA 'practicing' an LNAV approach, nearly ended up like Asiana in SFO! The other was demonstrating a flaps 25 landing (we never do those, but he decided he'd try one) and never flared. It was by far the hardest landing I've ever seen, in any airplane.
Well, for me with that MSP guy it was more of a hands off thing, a "fly it however you want" kind of thing. So I wasn't prepared for him not to flare, had I had more time with him I may have picked up on the fact he's not really with it because he just didn't really have a clue about a lot of things. Cocky as hell though so I thought he knew what he was doing. Nope.
