OK Jakal..if you see the above remark as nothing more than a compliment to TonyC than there's not much else to say on that subject.

Then you follow with..

Say again, over? Was JJ slamming against others, including me, or not? So, it wasn't about me but if I don't run for the next open LEC position in my block it will be? Thanks for the F.O.S. shot by the way. Always good to carry on mature, no insults or name calling dialogue with my peers. As I have done with JJ in the past, I hope you will forgive me for not degrading my posts and retaliating in kind with that kind of tactic. Anyway, you seem to contradict yourself here. And for the record, I did add my compliments to TonyC at the bottom of my previous post.

At least all the above makes me feel better about taking you seriously when you say..

As far as throwing my hat in the ring for the next LEC position I will see what I can do at that time but not because you or JJ think I can't have an opinion if I don't. In the past, I have been approached by many who have run for the slot in my block for my backing and have endorsed them. My current block rep still has my support for now but he knows just how I feel about the rubber stamp Age 60 issues got from most of the MEC. Though I have not run for any LEC positions, I have served as a volunteer on at least 4 different committees and given a hell of a lot of my free time to help them out. I have also volunteered but not been needed on a few others. Want to compare who has logged more hours helping out in the union? I feel I have earned my right to vent here and with my MEC regardless of what you or JJ think. Just because you run for and hold an office doesn't mean you get a pass when decisions are made that others may not agree with. Anyway, thanks for posting your opinion and I accept it without the requirement for you to run for the next open position on the LEC to be valid. Happy Landings..
