It'll probably be chock full of the same E-Jets and CRJs as now, but without the "Connection" or "Express" or "Eagle" on the sides. Remember, the original DC-9-10 was about the same size and capabilities as a CRJ-900. We've all effectively been doing mainline flying under a different banner for years, hopefully it'll all be absorbed back into mainline with the same planes. I don't mind flying 50-seat jets, I just mind doing it for food-stamp wages when we should all be on the mainline seniority list and contract, with larger and higher-paying metal only a bid away.
I guess I tend to forget that the mainline aircraft I remember flying as a kid was 737-200/300. But still, they can fit an Airbus into some of those E gates. The F is just a cluster now especially at the end of the terminal which is just a jet bridge fiasco for the E jets
