You're welcome, BrasiliaFlyer.

To Alfred's point... Again, no expert on hiring, and I don't even know what the application looks like. I just think that the type of individuals they seem to focus on (LCA's and CP's on the civilian side, and successful people in the military) by definition had jobs that involved less flying. If it weren't so, flight time would be the only discriminator, and they'd be filtering out the people that are here now.

I can't intelligently comment on Delta's threshold for a minimum amount of recent flying, but I suspect it's quite low. If you meet the total time, and your functions imply less line flying in recent history, I wouldn't sweat it. I fly almost exclusively with newhires (mostly flow-throughs for now, but some off the street), and they all seem to have strong resumés including some management function. Several have mentioned flying less in recent years. Not one told me that Delta was really, really impressed with their recent flight time. The guy I flew with yesterday was a flow-through, but he flew more in a few months at Delta, than in several years at his regional (where he was a sim instructor).

BTW... based on my own experience, and although it was a slightly different process back then, I should never have gotten the interview, on paper. I wasn't a LCA, and was at the low end of competitive stats. Aaaaaalmost had (what people thought was) the minimum turbine PIC time, but not quite. If I had focused on what people were saying on APC at the time, I might have been tempted not to apply. A lot of this game is about complying with all the app's instructions, not giving them an excuse to not hire you, not getting wrapped up in speculation about who might/might not get an interview, and investing your energy into being very well prepared when the interview comes.

Good luck to all!
