It's the same system as Usairways. There are no upfront fees for registered companion, just imputed income which accounts for about 10% of what a normal ticket would cost. For example, if a normal ticket is $200, you will have $20 of imputed income show up on your pay stub. Spouses don't get hit with imputed income.
