Well had a jumpseater who happened to be a fleet captain a couple days ago. So I had to engage and ask em about hiring.

Response was that weve been hiring internals at Fedex since Nov14 as well as draining the pool. The plan is to have 200 hires per year starting now for the next 10 years. The window for externals should be switched open within weeks. At least for the online application.....

Was also told the power of the recommendation is almost negligent anymore. What a shame we cant filter our own anymore.
