True but who wants to lose out on thousands of seniority #'s. Now is the time to get on because no one knows if we will be a 13,000 pilot airline 10-15 years from now. Could be 10,000 or could be 15,000. Every number counts.
I never had a seniority number over 1200, yet I flew crap most of my career. 1am reports, five day turns, I thought about opening a Dunkin' Doughnut shop in Evansville I was there so much. Highlight was Shakey's Pizza in LIT. All part of the circus. Last two years I got to fly the all-nighter LAX/SJU.... It is still the best job on the planet, regardless. Did I mention the dancing girls in the back?
