This. It has nothing to do with them "ramping up hiring". They have always targeted 10 new hires/week. When I was hired classes were full 3 months out.
I'm guessing the Seattle base announcement will help recruiting significantly. Seattle will go junior on the FO side. Some of my friends were holding it in FLICA while still in training. Seattle + paid hotels should give Compass an advantage for a few months.
