The statement was that Dubai does not have O&D traffic. That is just a false statement. It has nothing to do with whether or not if it is a wise decision to vacation or work there. Probably close to 70% of the people living in Dubai are expats. That is a lot of O&D traffic in its self.
I know many that love raising their families in Dubai, even some Americans and Canadians. It is not everybody's cup of tea.
I guess I should have been more clear for the simpletons. What the Lieutenant meant was that I find it extremely difficult to believer that DXB will support, as an O&D market, the thousands of seats that the me3 have on order. Either that or I totally misunderstand the appeal of a completely fake city in the middle of the desert. I guess shopping malls have only a limited appeal in my world since they are everywhere in the world to begin with.
Woohoo let's go skiing in a building in Dubai. Who wants to go to the Alps or Utah or anyplace like that?
