I absolutely criticize him for quoting Yoda, a fictional character. This is the largest regional airline in the US who's parent is a publicly traded company, not a Star Wars convention in Des Moines.
I personal don't care about the Yoda quote, however the MBA school quotes are getting old. I don't care what book, author, philosopher, etc said what.
And I don't care how good of a place this could be if we all stayed. The line "our mainline partners are noticing our performance" is also getting on my last nerve. I do like Brad, I think he is the right person for the job, but I don't want to hear that again from him, Alex, or other management crony. If they "notice" than where is the flying? "Mainline partners" don't care about performance. They care about dollars and cents...
They continue to paint this company as roses and sunshine to keep attrition to a manageable level. That ship has sailed. No company memo will change how we feel about the future of this company. The only want to slow attrition....maybe....is to award us some flying, upgrade some people and give us tangible positive news. Otherwise, this is the Titanic and we are looking for space on a lifeboat.
