I would have to agree that the pilots are part of this problem. Some of you will remember when S5 opened the base in Hawaii. The union went to the company and presented a detailed cost of living adjustment for crews based there. The company said thank you very much, but we have volunteers for the base already. The one time the old local 747 tried to do something for the pilots, and got shot in the foot by the very people they were trying to help.
