It's all about cost. There's no way Inc is going to be able to drive down costs enough at SkyWest or ExpressJet to be able to meaningfully bid on new flying against the likes of Mesa, TSA, Compass, etc.. As long as those places can keep hiring, then that's where the flying will go. Sure, you may get little bits and pieces like 7 175 for AS or 15 145 for AA, but nothing substantial that's going to outweigh the downsizing that's set to take place on both sides.
