Actually we have quite a few fairly senior guys here who worked for Atlas and or Polar at some point.... I can think of 4 or 5 actually....now to be fair.... they came here years ago... but still it has happened.....

And as far as Cliff... well... Cliff is a lucky SOB and he knows it... I know for a fact he got the thanks but no thanks letter from Atlas .. only to have them to decide at a later date they needed him to fill a class.... it is what it is...... I know because we interviewed at Atlas back in 2010 at about the same time.... yep... they didnt hire be .. boo hoo.... and over the years I have said not very much about it... thats fine... they made their choice.

BUT this undertone of "superiority" that some Atlas guys show off... well... lets just all remember... we work for ACMI carriers, with crappy contracts.... birds of a different feather if you will..... yes the pay is better at Atlas... Other than that the differences are pretty minor... well.. other than our true home basing scheme. YES.. we have had several guys get hired at Atlas lately... I can tell you there are two reasons... both good by the way.... money... and long term stability (probably) if there is such a thing in this business. Hell a couple months ago I sat next to an Atlas guy while going to CVG to start my line... guess what... we complained about the same things .... pay, scheduling, travel..... etc... Going to Atlas is a good move for some guys... Good for them.
