The explanation box in the help section for the form (found when you access medexpress and use the help function while filling the form) will give you the following:

"18. MEDICAL HISTORY -- Each item under this heading must be selected either "Yes" or "No." You must answer "Yes" for every condition you have ever been diagnosed with, had, or presently have. For every item selected "Yes" a comment will be required.

Letter (w) of this subheading asks if you have ever had any other (nontraffic) convictions (e.g., assault, battery, public intoxication, robbery, etc.). If so, name the charge for which you were convicted and the date of conviction in the APPLICANT EXPLANATIONS box.

You indicated that you didn't have a conviction, but your understanding of the event seems unclear. As with all legal matters, your best bet is to consult an attorney. A good place to begin is the AOPA legal plan, now under the same umbrella as their medical services. For a nominal yearly fee, you have access to legal consultation and questions.

Rather than rely on opinions on a web board, get qualified legal counsel to guide what will be an important decision.
