It's simply a matter of making oneself stand out in that tallest silo of candidates.
Sorry if i have no simpathy for them or care to hear the explanation while our first year FO's are literally eating food out of the RJs because they have no money.
But i hear what youre saying. I think as time goes by and more ex regional pilots get into more powerful positions we might see a shift.
Most of us will never forget the regional years. And seeing $600 paychecks flying a jet. (Makes it hard to be cordial with any mainline)
