I for one, don't need any further urgent messages telling me to wait by my phone. As a matter of fact, I nearly chose to opt out and take my number off the list. If I show up to work, and see we're on strike, I'll put my trip bag back in my car, and grab a sign! The only SMS we need is......ON STRIKE! Not testing, testing, testing, or the sky is falling, or wolf wolf wolf. We know the company is seeing these messages, and if there is an attempt to show management we are about to walk; it only worked once for me! Fool me once.....shame on you.....fool me twice ( or daily ) shame on me for letting you. I'm not responding to the next SMS unless its the real deal.
Nothing about your statement above is helpful to the cause.
If you have questions or concerns about the process and why things are happing please bring them up to a union representative or contact one of the three EXCO members they will respond.
All pilots need to keep in mind everything we due as a group or as individuals is highly visible right now. Anything you have to say that may shed even the slightest negative light on the union leaders or the process should be discussed with your union leadership not on a public forum.
If it is not something that bothers you enough to talk to your union reps about then keep it to yourself.
