I have an internal recommendation that recommended me two windows ago, she didn't receive any acknowledgement that her recommendation was received. This window she got a company email saying thank you for your recommendation. I am the only person she recommended so I am wondering if that means anything with regards to my application? I received an email this window and I havent personally recommended anyone recently. I'm wondering if a friend put my name down.
I do know if you are hired as a result of her recommendation, she gets a small referral fee. Im sorry to say, that I don't think this means your applications has necessarily shifted in the pile due to this email.
