Regional pilots will only go as far as complain on a website forum BUT THATS IT. That's the extent of how much they care. As a result, both company and alpa take advantage. In fact, alpa keeps the regional pilot group in line for the company. Imagine the chaos if all regional airlines simply went unionless.
For most regional pilots, there's really no point in trying to improve things. This is just supposed to be a temporary stop to gain experience and see if you have what it takes to move on to the majors. Putting your career on the line for an extra two bucks an hour is simply not something most regional pilots would be willing to do.
