If, in fact, new hires are getting DA2000 SIC seats are they already typed and/or qualified in similar sized/mission aircraft? It appears that's what you guys are insinuating.
Mostly random, however you can fit out of the Phenom. Even re-calls were put into different fleets than they left. Training is the same if you have the type or not. The DA2000 Classic mission is the same as the H800XPC, CE-750, CE-680, G200, and CL-350, 99% North America, PBI-TEB-VNY. The DA2000EZ is considered a different fleet and is paid more, it also will do a little more inter-continental. Your fleet assignment will mostly be determined by what training slots are available, there isn't enough for the current demand.
