You can only maintain the trip rig on pilot modified pairings that you add too, not drop things off of. If you drop, you lose the trip rig...period. If you add a turn, and the credit is negativey effected by loss of the rig, you have to email/call/file payroll dispute, and the credit will eventually be restored.
