No worries, just trying to help out those who might have Delta retirees providing recs. As in my case, I know more retired non-pilots than current pilots. AK gave out that address for someone in a similar situation during the briefing. It was out loud to the crowd, not a one-on-one sidebar conversation.

My rec was sent from a personal email address and the person listed their full name, dates of employment, etc. I would imagine its a quick database crosscheck on Delta's part to verify one's current or former employment status. I would also think it to to be foolish to have someone try and "pull one over" and make a false claim of employment. That would most likely end all chances of getting an interview.
