Some of the areas where TSA was deficient compared to the PCL contract have been addressed by recent LOIs, mainly the areas involving DFI reporting requirements, and others will be corrected in the new contract. Main differences are reserve rules and once again it should be addresed in our new contract. Having worked with both contracts the PCL one is marginally better, but to say it blows TSA out of the water is nonsense.

As a former PCL employee with lots of friends still there, I would be more worried about PCL/Endeavor being around in four years than TSA. Once Delta gets its rate resets and doesn't need Endeavor (or Gojet) anymore then I would be more worried about the future of PCL. See what Delta management did with Express I, Mesaba, Comair, Pinnacle and Freedom when they were no longer needed. Plus most Delta people you talk to think that the majority of their regional flying will return to mainline with 717 type airplanes. Kinda interesting your bonus is for only two years which is how long it will take Mother Delta to get all the 717s online.

Leases are dirt cheap on 50 seaters for a while, and TSA will be in good shape till the MRJ gets worked out one way or the other. Holdings is not going to let qualified pilots just walk away in the present staffing environment which is expected to get worse not better so TSA pilots will be fine no matter what happens. Many here do not expect the present organizational structure (3 certificates) to be the case with TSA Holdings five or ten years from now.
Except the bonus is four years in length, care to update your theory, what is Delta going to do with those two extra years? Ask yourself who is going to have the resources to keep pilots as the regionals start to crumble, Delta or Hulas? Does Hulas have 80 million sitting around to attract/keep pilots?
