Under what???
What are you comparing the 737 to??
Please don't try to compare a 737NG to the airbus...please...
Same day...same city...Airbus takes a maximum of 150 pax while a 737-800 takes 166 pax with 4 more in first...
With regards to base closings and displacements...You keep wanting to make SEA an issue, but SEA had issues before the merger and now with Delta moving in there was no way SEA could remain some sort of a "one Long haul flight a day HUB".
Like I said before, displacements to LUAL bases do not affect the LUAL pilots as much as any displacement will affect the LCAL pilots with a similar move due to the loss of bidding power.
I a time of 1000+ hiring environment, this does not bode well...if we were experiencing a downturn we could all understand any move by the company...not in today's environment.
We are not losing 737 cities out of IAH we are just moving that same flying to other bases, in DEN, the company is moving specific aircraft away from that base...very different scenarios....
