DHL can shift flying from one carrier to another in relatively short order. But it is ironic that the same pilots will probably fly the same routes, just with a different employer as they are furloughed.
If only there was some way to retain longevity as we are bounced from one carrier to the next. Like a clause in all 1224 contracts that states the company must hire a furloughed 1224 pilot before anyone else, and that the pilot would retain his longevity for pay from his previous service with a 1224 carrier.
