SAP & Days off
I've spoken to a few PSA pilots and they tell me you can get 19-21 days off. I'm trying to figure out how. Maybe a current PSA pilot (or two) could help. I know you can SAP your schedule down but you have to have 65 hours of flying at a minimum. In looking at the lines for the last couple of months it looks like most 4-day trips are worth about 20 hours on average and the 3-day trips are worth 12-13 hours of credit.
Not to be contradictory, but it sounds like you'd need (3) 4-day trips and a 2-day or 3-day. That adds up to 14-15 days of flying and 14-15 days off in a 30-day month. That's not significantly different from lots of other regionals. Please tell me my math ain't right. LOL!
