I'm not sure about Clark, but seems like a political opponent of Wilder's was from Clarksville..... maybe CLARK for that?...
Clark is for Clark Tower in east memphis. It is the tall building off right wing as you turn south on arrival. Twikl intersection on the marvel three arrival is named for twinkle town airport that used to exist near that intersection.
